At the London photocall for Christopher Nolan’s "The Odyssey," Zendaya revealed that every scene featuring her character, the goddess Athena, is designed to teach the audience a lesson. She described Athena as the divine guide and protector of Odysseus (played by Matt Damon), underscoring her pivotal role in the epic film.
Zendaya turned heads in a custom ivory Jacquemus column gown inspired by the Greek goddess. Styled by long-time collaborator Law Roach, the look featured a draped headscarf, a low-scooped back, and ancient coin-inspired jewelry.
The promotional event brought together Nolan and his star-studded cast against the city skyline. Zendaya appeared alongside Tom Holland (who portrays Telemachus), Anne Hathaway (Penelope), Matt Damon, and Lupita Nyong'o, as anticipation continues to build ahead of the theatrical release.
