Toei has officially announced Kamen Rider MY-TH (pronounced "mice") as the eighth Reiwa era series and the centerpiece of the franchise's 55th anniversary. The show builds its identity around a high-stakes game of cat and mouse, casting a clever, mouse-themed hero against the predatory forces hunting him.
The premise turns predator and prey into rival Riders. Sporting a sleek silver-blue suit, MY-TH is pursued by two feline rivals: the fiery red Kamen Rider Maoh and the stealthy black-yellow Kamen Rider Lido. Transformations are unlocked using pocket-sized, egg-shaped key items that give the mouse hero an edge against his pursuers.
Breaking 55 years of tradition, MY-TH wears his transformation belt across his chest rather than his waist, setting up a unique chest-versus-waist driver dynamic. The series premieres in September 2026, following the conclusion of Kamen Rider ZEZTZ.
