According to the creators of Minions & Monsters, an early version of the film would have revealed that the Minions were born during the Big Bang and actually helped shape the Earth itself.
This concept would have massively expanded their lore, making the mischievous yellow creatures far older and more influential than fans ever imagined. Ultimately, the idea was scrapped and left out of the final movie, meaning it is not official canon.
Even so, the revelation has gone viral online, with fans laughing at just how absurdly overpowered the Minions almost became—and wondering what other bizarre concepts were left on the cutting room floor.
