Norway lost, and the internet is blaming Sørloth for not passing to Haaland.
So Norway was up 1-0 against England in the World Cup 2026 quarterfinal, then got a 2 on 1 counter attack that should've been an easy chance. Alexander Sorloth had the ball and decided to go for it himself, even though Erling Haaland was completely open in a way better spot to finish. The shot didn't go in, and Norway ended up losing 1-2 and getting knocked out of the tournament.

Fans immediately flooded Sorloth's social media, calling him selfish and blaming that one decision for the whole result. Interestingly, Haaland himself looked pretty chill about it and didn't seem mad at his teammate at all.

That's football for you, one split second decision and it becomes the whole internet's topic for days. But honestly it makes sense people are curious, since that chance really did look like a guaranteed goal if the ball reached Haaland. l

What do you think, was that just human error or an actual bad call
