A viral fan comic by artist @DoreFatum has hilariously blended the Despicable Me universe with World War II. The illustration depicts a historical German leader in a bunker addressing the iconic Minions—Kevin, Stuart, and Bob—who are dressed in full military uniforms and standing at attention. The artist captioned the piece simply: "Alt history be like..."
The dark but absurd premise immediately sparked a wave of playful replies online. Fans began imagining scenarios where the yellow creatures completely botched axis military operations and weapon projects.
However, official franchise lore completely rules this out. According to Minions canon, the creatures never served any real-world 20th-century dictators, as they were trapped inside an isolated ice cave from 1812 all the way until 1968.
