A social media user has scored a wonderfully absurd Facebook Marketplace find. User @sixtyvari0us purchased a massive, official Illumination Minions cardboard cutout display, celebrating the haul with a simple caption: "he's mine now."
The viral saga began when user @abbythesaintt posted a screenshot of the listing, calling the $100 Minions display an "Fb marketplace grail." The initial photo showed the massive yellow cutout looming awkwardly behind a regular green couch, highlighting its hilarious, oversized scale. Inspired, the buyer tracked down the listing, negotiated the price down to $90, and shoved the 36-by-73-inch promo head into their car at night.
The giant Minion head now hangs directly above the buyer's bed, casting a surreal presence over the room. The post exploded online, even prompting the official Minions franchise account to comment: "we are always watching."
