Fan Art Turns Norway vs. Brazil World Cup Match into Luffy vs. Loki Battle

An artist created a brilliant crossover illustration ahead of the Norway vs. Brazil match, drawing One Piece's Luffy in a Brazil jersey being playfully roughhoused by Loki, who is decked out in Norway's colors. The concept stems from creator Eiichiro Oda stating Luffy would be Brazilian in real life, while Loki, the prince of Elbaph, is heavily inspired by Norse mythology.

The fiction mirrored a historic reality as Norway pulled off a massive 2-1 upset over powerhouse Brazil in the 2026 World Cup Round of 16. Few outside Norway expected the giant-killing performance that sent the South American favorites packing.

Superstar striker Erling Haaland broke the deadlock in the 79th minute, powering home a towering header off a pinpoint cross from Andreas Schjelderup. Haaland then sealed the legendary victory in the 90th minute with a thunderous low strike from outside the box.
