China has launched the world's first humanoid robot fighting competition, the Ultimate Robot Knock-out Legend (URKL). Debuting on July 16, 2026, in the tech hub of Shenzhen, the tournament features 32 international finalist teams competing for a massive 10 million yuan prize pool and a championship belt.
To ensure a level playing field, all competitors use identical EngineAI T800 humanoid platforms equipped with high-torque joints and advanced sensors, controlled remotely by human operators. The league aims to test how AI and robotics handle extreme, real-world physical impacts.
The tournament's opening matches went viral instantly during a bout between "White Eagle" and "Matador." White Eagle executed a stunning tornado kick that completely decapitated Matador. In a shocking twist, Matador's headless torso continued swinging punches before finally collapsing, visibly stunning ringside guest Donnie Yen.
