A viral photo of a pedestrian carrying a pet backpack has amused the internet due to a bizarre optical illusion. At first glance, the backpack's clear front window appeared to be filled to the brim with fine, light-colored sand. In reality, it was just a cream-colored cat sleeping so peacefully that it completely filled the space.
These popular "bubble" backpacks are specifically designed with large transparent windows so pets can safely enjoy the view and get fresh air while traveling. However, this particular feline was so comfortable and relaxed that it seemingly melted into the bottom of the bag, perfectly mimicking the texture and shape of a heavy pile of sand.
