Shirin Migishima and Shirane Sanari are the dual protagonists of the upcoming game Bleach Mirrors High, introducing a fresh generation of Soul Reapers. Character designer Tite Kubo personally created both leads for the Bandai Namco title, marking the franchise's first major original additions since the manga's conclusion.
Shirin Migishima, a fierce young Soul Reaper, features striking red hair and intense eyes that echo iconic Kubo traits—reminiscent of Rukia Kuchiki's sharp gaze and Atau's vibrant hair color. His co-protagonist, Shirane Sanari, is a female Soul Reaper with distinct blonde-orange hair whose styling deliberately contrasts with traditional Gotei 13 uniforms.
The pair marks a pivotal shift for the franchise, allowing players to experience a 3D post-war narrative through new recruits rather than Ichigo Kurosaki. Kubo was reportedly so invested he delivered far more concepts than requested.
