Production for the highly anticipated second season of Alien: Earth has officially commenced in London. Serving as a prequel to Ridley Scott's seminal 1979 sci-fi horror masterpiece, the series is set in the year 2120 on an Earth completely subjugated by five ruthless megacorporations, exploring the corporate greed and technological landscape that preceded the ill-fated voyage of the Nostromo.
Filming has moved to the historic Pinewood Studios, a location deeply intertwined with the franchise's cinematic legacy, having previously hosted production for Aliens, Alien³, and Prometheus. This return to British soundstages grounds the series in the same industrial, atmospheric aesthetic that defined the classic features.
Sydney Chandler returns to lead the ensemble as Wendy, alongside a robust returning cast. The sophomore season also introduces major star power to the corporate dystopia, with legendary actor Peter Dinklage joined by new cast additions including comedy veteran Tracey Ullman, Sam Spruell, and Game of Thrones alumnus Jerome Flynn.
